Chapter twenty eight.
Josie discovers Johns death when Poison Ivy tells her, as soon as she finds out she stop referring to Poison Ivy as Poison but purely just as ivy. she doesn't believe it at first and quiet understand why he killed himself when he had such a great life but even Jacob was effected by this discovery.
Chapter twenty nine.
Michael decides to buy property in Glebe so he can be closer to Christina and Josie and he splits up with his former girlfriend. Josie decides to change her last name to Andretti but was worried her mother would think she was being adopted, she quotes that changing her last name is totally different to bei adopted.
Chapter Thirty.
Jacob and Josie have broken up and she has cried for exactly ten hours and thirty minutes. He blames her for making him feel like a failure and in adequate for her standards and brings up John. Josie ends the chapter saying she will never fall in love again.
Chapter thirty one.
Josie meets her friends to celebrate the end of the exams at Harley's. Lee tells them she lost her virginity to Mat last night and that it was no big deal. They discuss the effects or the different scenarios if Josie had had sex with Jacob but they thought it wouldn't have changed. Anna is happy with Anton and Lee tells them loosing her virginity was nothing special.
Chapter thirty two.
Josie finally understands her life and how to be free when reflecting back on her year. The novel, "looking for Alibrandi" finishes with my favorite quote, 'one day came, because i finally understood.'
