Looking For Alibrandi chapters 1-5

Chapter one.
Looking For Alibrandi is a novel base upon a recently turned seventeen year old girl named Josephine Alibrandi. Josephine otherwise known as 'Josie,' attends a strick school on a solar ship run by nuns who are very old-fashioned. She is confronted with a problematic factor of reading a magazine in the first chapter and is confronted by a nun named 'Sister Gregory" on page three. Josephine in a desperate bid to remain on the good side of all teachers for the following year, developed and answer the to nuns rhetorical questions.
On page five we discover that Josie is located in Glebe, a suburb just outside the cit centre of Sydney; ten minutes from the harbour.
Josephines mother is names Christina and is on thirty four years of age. Christian was also born in Glebe but they both have an Italian heritage. Josephine is raised by her single mother and isn't aware of her father and hasn't been told anything about him.
Chapter two.
Josephine relevant information about her three best friends. 'Lee Taylor, Anna Selicic and Seraphina.' None if the girl fit into the stereotyped groups in her society, but they all fit together. we discover the existence of 'Poison Ivy' who is really named 'Ivy Lloyd'. 
Chapter three.
Chapter three is based upon rituals. Josie's grandmother is included and we are made aware of how Josie feels towards her. Josie's grandmother is very Italian and tried to keep to all the expectation of being an Italian widow to prevent the others from 'talking'. Christina wasn't close with her mother and her mother only finally accepted her after her father's death. Christiana has chosen for Josie to have a closer relationship with her grandmother than she did. Christina is criticized for every movement and Josie doesn't appreciate it.
Chapter four.
'John Barton' the "love of her life' is introduced in this chapter as she explains her past with him and his history on page forty one.
There is confrontation between the two of the at the debating gathering and they compare backgrounds. They agree to see a movie on page forty nine and on page fifty Josie tells her mother 'Christina' about wanting to work for MacDonald.
Chapter five.
Josie is going to the school dance and has agreed to be back by twelve pm on the dot on page fifty two.
'Jacob Coote' asked Josie to dance and they did for a consecutive number of times before he offered her  a lift home when her friends were to go to another event after the ball. Josie discovers Jacob has a motorbike on page fifty nine. They become more acquainted on the trip to Josie's home.
